There are too many dead people in this house.

These nights are pleasant; it is quiet and the sky is as empty as the earth. These 'stars' that people speak of: what truth can they hold over us from so far away? Better to trust those things which can be heard and felt.

Twist got into the clay. I don't know where he went.

Morning can be quite damp. But in the summer, when it's hot but not humid, that's my favorite.

I prefer to watch animals and their habits rather than the stars, that's all.

Dry heat and burnt grass... those are also good days. The sun is heavy in midsummer.
