It's... it's fine, really.... *raises a shaky hand, not sure exactly where Vivi or the bowl is* I just... ugh... That smells good...

*pulls a chair over and sits down, then carefully guides Jei's hand so that he knows where the bowl is* You're sure? 'Cus ... well ... *sniffles a little, trying not to get all sappy* you're not just sick ... are you ... what really happened?

*arms shake a bit, but he manages not to knock the bowl over; he curls one hand around it so it doesn't go over by accident*

*plaintive* I... How does everyone know I'm not just sick?

*shocked and amazed* Wha, really? That's awful! I didn't know things like that could happen here. It must have been horrible ... but ... but you'll be better soon right? Because, they have spells and potions and thinks that can help ...

"Th-that's why!" whimpered Jei, hunching over the bowl. The pain and guilt and misunderstanding weighed down far too heavily on his slender shoulders. "Th-they're already curing me and... and there's nothing anyone can do, and I didn't want.... I'm not....."

Are you kidding? It's even more worth it then! Because ... *sniffling a little* ... because everyone needs someone to help them. Even if it's just little stuff. And ... everyone needs someone to care about them. Family. And friends. If I can't ... can't really help ... then the very least I could do is try and be a good friend to you.
