Sharp

*written in his usual straggly, somewhat ominous handwriting*

Heh heh heh... I found the charm to unstick the pages at last. Blagg, Nunnerly, your hours are numbered.

Somebody told me that ghosts walk through people. None have ever walked through me. Perhaps that means they are smart.

My crab ran away....

That last Potions assignment is a trick. Each person only got part of the instructions. What we have to do is put all the pieces together and find someone something to test it on. Or look up the effects in the textbook, but how much fun would that be?

[[Stopgap post the third: strikes illegible; Blagg and Nunnerly are Jei's NPC roommates; underline is a strike that got skewed and didn't work; and any other first-years may go ahead and run with the idea!

Jei's journal pages have been glued together since his last entry, but he's been in school and going to classes as usual, save for his normal absences around full-moon time.]]

*hesitates, then grins and nods*

It's white. *which may not help as all of Tia Dalma's crabs were white, but hey* And it makes a scuttling sound and has a chip off its shell near the last leg on the right.

[[^___^ Thank you! *hugs back*]]

Yes. It's mine.

*doesn't know if it's male or female because with a crab, who can tell?*

I guess, but I don't even know Bella that well. Even though I cuddle with her every night...

*grins* Details are important. There were so many crabs around at first, I had to find a way of telling White apart.
