Even if it was against the rules or something, they still shouldn't have done that. What kind of crazy people kill a kid's pet? It's cruel! You shouldn't have to put up with that kind of person.

Could you, I dunno, go stay somewhere else for a while? Just to get away from them? I bet you could stay here at the farm if you wanted to. My folks wouldn't mind, and the only stupid people you'd have to put up with are my brothers.
